Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of whtvrwrks, an AI-assisted to-do list at whtvrwrks.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

whtvrwrks is a personal timeline: tasks, events, notes, and measurements, with an AI assistant that can read and act on your timeline when you ask it to. The service is currently in an invite-only beta — features may change, be added, or be removed as it develops.

2. Your account

An account is for one person. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide a working email address — it's how we verify you, reset your password, and reach you about the service. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Your content

Everything you put into whtvrwrks remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: to store your content, display it back to you, process it with AI models to generate assistant replies, and show shared items to the specific people you share them with. We claim no other rights, and the license ends when you delete the content or your account. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. AI features

The assistant is a large language model. It can be wrong: it may misunderstand a request, produce inaccurate information, or schedule something differently than you intended. Review what it does — its actions on your timeline are shown to you and can be edited or undone. Don't rely on the assistant as a sole source for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

5. Credits and billing

Assistant usage is metered against a credit balance. New accounts receive a one-time welcome credit. During the beta, purchasing additional credits is disabled. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and aren't redeemable or refundable. When paid top-ups launch, the terms for them will be presented at purchase.

6. Sharing

You control what you share and with whom; you can revoke a share at any time. When someone shares an item with you, use it only as the role they granted allows. Don't use sharing to harass others or to access data you weren't given.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights using the service;
• probe, scan, or breach the service's security, or access another user's data without their explicit grant;
• abuse the AI assistant or APIs — including automated bulk use designed to exhaust resources or circumvent metering;
• resell or white-label the service without our agreement;
• misrepresent who you are when connecting with other users.

8. Third-party services

Optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) are governed additionally by the third party's own terms. We're not responsible for third-party services, and an integration may stop working if the third party changes or withdraws it.

9. Beta status and availability

The service is provided as a beta. We aim for reliability but don't promise uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue features (or the service) with reasonable notice where practical. Export your data regularly — the in-app export exists for exactly this reason.

10. Termination

You can stop using whtvrwrks and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or abuse the service; where reasonable we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we'll notify you (by email or in the app) before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes are subject to the courts of [VENUE], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
